The Stewart boasts slightly larger pear-shaped fruit with thin, nearly black skin. The creamy green flesh holds an outstanding nutty flavor, plus the tree is a consistent bearer. The oil content is high near 20%. The tree is cold, hardy and can act as a great pollinator.
