The Nordmann Kumquat has an oval, teardrop shape with thin light orange skin. It is seedless and was originally grown in Florida. Its a sweet and tart flavor makes it great for marmalade or eating fresh. The fruit is similar to in size to Nagamis, with a fine dense texture. They are semi-dormant in winter and can withstand below freezing temperatures. Nordmann Kumquats have a healthy and strong root system which helps the fruit stay firmly on the tree.
