The Yosemite Gold Mandarin is a bright orange medium-to-large sized fruit. It is nice and “meaty”, with easy-to-peel skin. Often compared to the Pixie Mandarin, it is seedless with a rich, sweet taste that has just a hint of acidity.  It is a hybrid of the Temple Tangor and Dancy and Encore mandarins developed in 2002 at the University of California, Riverside. The Yosemite Gold Mandarin trees grow in number of locations.
