Chill Hours: 200
Fruit Ripens: November
Fuyu Persimmons are a non-astringent variety, which grow to a yellow-orange color and are slightly flattened in shape. They can be eaten firm and crisp, even while barely ripe. Eat them just like an apple, slicing them up, and even eating the skin, which is perfectly edible. The sweet and mild fruits are great in salads, or baked in pies and cakes.
